Founder Xiaotong Zheng had a Schnauzer named “Fugui” — energetic and relentlessly destructive. In the spring of 2024, she sat amid a floor full of cotton stuffing for half an hour, and suddenly smiled — she realized she had been treating Fugui with a “managing pets” mindset, rather than simply “being with him.”
That day, she decided to start a brand. Not to sell more things, but to make every interaction between owners and their pets a more tender expression of connection.
In 2025, WOOPZEEK was officially established. In our first year, we made only three products. Not because we didn't want to make more, but because every design — from sketch to final product — went through over four months of real-life testing with Xiaotong and Fugui. When she sketched, Fugui lay beside her. When samples arrived, Fugui tested them for half a month first. If he didn't approve, it was back to the drawing board.
One year. Three products. By industry standards, embarrassingly slow. But we're not in a rush. WOOPZEEK believes that great products aren't “manufactured” — they grow from the everyday moments between people and their pets. Every piece must withstand Fugui's teeth and Xiaotong's relentless standards.
